Paparazzi photography
While attending the School of Visual Arts in NYC, I worked for Photographer Ron Galella, considered one of the greatest paparazzi photographer of his time. I was his Black & White printer and photographer. It was exciting working buzzing around Manhattan at all hours of the day and night, the pay was good for me as a student and even paid for my last two years of school and Thesis costs. From 1984 to 1987 I worked about 50 hours a week either in the lab or out shooting. Looking back, it was rough but rewarding and unforgettable.
